Job Description
Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and passionate After-School Program Facilitator to support youth development programming for school-age children. This role includes leading enrichment activities, providing academic support, and fostering social-emotional growth in a safe, supportive, and substance-free environment. Responsibilities Facilitate after-school enrichment and educational activities Provide homework assistance and academic support Promote positive behavior and youth engagement Lead group activities and social-emotional learning discussions Maintain a safe, inclusive, and structured environment Collaborate with staff, families, and community partners Complete attendance and program documentation Qualifications Experience working with children in educational or community settings Strong communication and leadership skills Passion for youth development and healthy lifestyles High school diploma required. Bachelor's degree in education, Human Services, Social Services, or a related field preferred. 1-2 years of experience in youth development, after-school, or summer programs may be substituted for degree. Ability to obtain required clearances (PA Child Abuse, PA Criminal, and FBI if applicable) Preferred Qualifications CPR/First Aid certification Experience with social-emotional learning programs How to Apply Please submit your resume and cover letter outlining your experience and interest in the position.
