Exempt Position Summary The Program Director provides strategic leadership for all human service programs at Susquehanna County Interfaith. This position ensures programs effectively fulfill the organization's mission of providing Help and Hope through high-quality services, measurable outcomes, compassionate care, and continuous improvement. The Program Director oversees program staff, case management, grant implementation, program development, partnerships, and quality assurance while building a culture of servant leadership and excellence. Essential ResponsibilitiesProgram Leadership Provide leadership for all human service programs. Supervise Case Managers and outreach coordinator. Ensure programs operate with dignity, compassion, accountability, and measurable outcomes. Monitor participant success and program effectiveness. Develop new programming based on community needs. Ensure excellent customer service throughout all human service programs. Strengthen collaboration between programs to maximize client success. Evaluate program outcomes using data and performance metrics. Staff Leadership Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and coach program staff. Conduct performance evaluations. Build leadership capacity within program teams. Foster teamwork and professional growth. Address employee concerns and promote a healthy workplace culture. Grant Management & Compliance Ensure compliance with grant requirements. Monitor grant objectives and reporting. Collect and analyze program data. Prepare reports for funders and leadership. Maintain accurate documentation. Community Partnerships Build relationships with schools, churches, treatment providers, businesses, and community agencies. Represent Interfaith at community meetings. Strengthen referral partnerships. Support volunteer engagement. Strategic Planning Assist the Executive Director with strategic planning. Recommend program improvements. Identify unmet community needs. Help develop long-term organizational goals. Financial Oversight Assist with annual program budgets. Monitor program expenditures. Ensure responsible stewardship of grant funding. Organizational Leadership Promote Interfaith's mission and values. Assist with fundraising events and donor engagement. Support organizational initiatives. Serve as a member of the senior leadership team. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Nonprofit Management, Organizational Leadership, or related field. Five years of leadership experience. Experience supervising staff. Grant management experience preferred. Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Knowledge of poverty, trauma-informed care, and workforce development. Must be willing to travel to all Interfaith locations. Must be willing to agree with and sign Interfaith's Statement of Faith.
