Our programs are open to all who identify as having a disability and those who do not. They are for everyone. A Seasonal/temporary Program Delivery Educator will be part of the teaching team at Open Up. They will work closely with other Program Delivery Educators, students, caregivers, and senior leadership at Open Up during Summer Camp 2026 to ensure a positive educational experience for all that mirrors Open Up's values: Openness, Inclusion, Wholeheartedness, Growth, Joy.

General Responsibilities:

Open Up Summer Camp Program 2026: Deliver, teach, & facilitate Open Up Summer Camp program Aug 3-20, 2026. Also includes orientation/training week of July 27-July 31, 2026. Educator will use expertise and experience in movement, yoga, mindfulness, inclusion and accessibility, especially for those living with disabilities. Work with Open Up staff to regularly incorporate feedback.

Continued Education:

Apply best practices and seek out new learning opportunities to bring to Open Up program.

Community Relations:

Create, foster, and maintain relationships with members of Open Up communities while working to receive feedback on the Open Up Summer Camp program. Collect and synthesize feedback throughout the camp for Open Up.

Programming Support:

Collect, organize, and share data from Open Up Camp Program to help determine future program strategy.

Estimated Time Split:

Must be present at Open Up studio 8am-12pm on the following dates of summer camp: Aug. 3-6, Aug. 10-13, and Aug. 17-20. Training/orientation hours July 37-31, 2026:

TBD Qualifications:

1+ years of teaching experience (movement, yoga, dance - preferred) 2+ years experience in school education settings preferred Open Up strongly encourages candidates to apply who have experience (professional or lived) working with communities with disabilities and diverse backgrounds Willingness to learn, to be inclusive, and to make accommodations so that people of all abilities can participate safely Schedule that can accommodate seasonal teaching hours as outlined in this description. Ability to lift 20 lbs. without assistance Ability to arrive on time each day at our Lawrenceville studio (3711 Butler Street, Pgh, PA 15201).
