JOB DESCRIPTION
The Temporary Assistant Director is responsible for assisting the ongoing operations and case management of the College Honor Council, a student and faculty body that investigates and adjudicates cases of academic misconduct. The Temporary Assistant Director will report to the Director. The responsibilities include maintaining all records of the council, managing investigations and hearings, and preparing of hearing documents and evidence packets. Necessary soft skills include problem solving, sound judgment, good communication, and an ability to effectively transition between different tasks throughout the workday. The Temporary Assistant Director may also assist with developing educational programs related to academic integrity, evaluate assigned educational sanctions, execute projects related to data and assessment, and complete other duties as assigned.Responsibilities:
+ Supports tasks related to case load management for the Emory College Honor Council. + Coordinates the Honor Code educational program. + May create and develop resources for publication on website or print. + Provides technical support by evaluating established processes, conducting training, attending operational meetings and networking with affiliated groups. + Monitors progress toward achieving established objectives and deadlines. + Oversees or assists in developing operational and statistical reports for management and regulatory agencies. + Ensures required records and documentation are maintained.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
+ Bachelor's degree in a field related to the program(s) and five years of program related experience, OR equivalent combination of experience, education, and training. Preferred Qualifications + High proficiency in Microsoft Suite especially Excel + Strong clerical and administrative skills + Proficient in Canvas or other learning management system + Graduate degree preferred- This position is part-time, 30 hours/week. May work 1-2 days per week remotely after initial two week training period. Appointment scheduled to conclude September 30, 2026 but with potential for renewal or permanent appointment.

Position tasks are generally required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location. Remote work from home day options may be granted at department discretion. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.- Additional Details
