Job Description
Overview Join our team and be a part of something extraordinary as part of Tabor Services' Independent Living Program. Independent Living Program Program supports and services build on the strengths of the individuals and promote their success in becoming more independent. These services include case management, activities in life skills education groups and limited housing support. Duration of services can vary based on the progress and need of each individual but may last up to three years from the time of their admission into the program. Benefits

Salary:
$64500 / annually Job Summary The Assistant Program Director, Independent Living Program, is responsible for the oversight and day-to-day administration of the Chester County Independent Living (IL) program. More specifically, this position provides critical oversight and support to Tabor Children's Services (TCS) Chester County IL team, as well as ongoing communications and service coordination with Chester County Children, Youth & Families. The program works with youth 14 to 23 years of age. The Assistant Program Director position ensures that the Chester IL program meets all regulatory and agency standards as well as contracted expectations and obligations. This position reports directly to the Executive Vice President of Operations. Regular travel through Chester County and surrounding counties required.Works a Hybrid schedule:
3 days in office and 2 days' work from home (schedule can change based on departmental needs). Hours are from 9 am - 5pm Monday through Friday but may also vary according to departmental needs. Responsibilities Serves as the primary liaison for Chester County Children, Youth & Families on all things related to the Chester County Independent Living program, including but not limited to: fiscal inquiries, program planning, case-specific troubleshooting, staffing updates, etc. Oversees and tracks program activities, as well as timely submission requirements as outlined by Chester County Children, Youths & Families. Attends all required meetings for and with Chester County Children, Youth & Acts as a professional liaison with community resource providers to facilitate program Develops and coordinates all services for Chester County Independent Living Ensures adequate staffing and coverage for IL Reviews client files ongoing to ensure the provision of quality services by assigned Participates and/or attends program, supervisory level and client meetings, as Facilitates the referral process and delegates youth to various Enhances the IL life skills curriculum, when/as Develops a system to monitor program expenditures to ensure efficiency in program Reviews all documentation including but not limited to case notes, monthly reports, and client files to ensure compliance and a high level of quality services. Establish and implement guidelines for timely submission of all required reports for work Establish and monitor schedules of staff to ensure that client needs are Provides supervision as required and facilitates regular team meetings with Interviews, hires, plans, assigns, and directs work; timely completion of performance appraisals; rewards and provides corrective action up to disciplinary actions; addresses complaints and resolves problems. Identifies training opportunities for the program staff and ensures that necessary training is completed including training as required by funding sources. Collects program data, and documents program activities for the evaluation of the programs and as required by program funders, including but not limited to the submission of service delivery reports. Participates in all performance management-related activities and spearheads all initiatives to improve program quality, compliance, and outcomes, while meeting scorecard metrics. Ensures the program policies and protocols are developed and maintained, and ensures that agency policies and procedures, as well as regulations and standards are followed by program staff. Supports program staff in planning service delivery components, outreach, and case management Other duties as assigned Qualifications Master's degree in Social Work, Human Services or closely related field. Three (3) years' experience in human services with one (1) year leadership experience or proven leadership capabilities. Strong written and verbal communication Strategic planning and recruitment Skills with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Knowledge in program expansion and Ability to complete monthly tracking Ability to achieve desired performance Ability to assess and problem solve and assist in crisis management when Valid driver's license and the ability to use your own Clean driving history Must be free from any communicable or infectious Provide a valid PA child abuse clearance, FBI check, and criminal background About Tabor Services We aim to ensure that the services we provide families are the least restrictive as possible as we link them with resources for support within their community and culture. Extended family members with safe homes are the best resources for children who cannot remain with their own parents. Preparation for youth independence begins at the onset of service delivery and includes planning the steps that will lead to emancipation from the child welfare system. Permanency and independence are key objectives for all service consumers.Qualifications:
Master s degree in Social Work, Human Services or closely related field. Three (3) years experience in human services with one (1) year leadership experience or proven leadership capabilities.
