Title:
Associate Program Specialist Duration:
12+ Months, Long-term.
Renewable Location:
Peachtree City, GA 30269 // Farmington Hills, MI 48331 (
Hybrid:
3x/week)
Work Schedule:
Hybrid - 3 days in the office (Monday-Wednesday) and 2 days remote (Thursday-Friday). Schedule may vary based on department needs. Position Summary The Associate Program Manager assists Program Managers, Lead Program Managers, and Senior Program Managers in planning and coordinating activities for designated programs to ensure that goals and objectives are accomplished within established timelines and funding parameters. The role requires a highly organized mindset, strong attention to detail, and a desire to develop program management and leadership skills. Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Internship or similar professional experience is required.
  • Fluency in Spanish and/or Japanese is highly desired. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with planning the tasks required to successfully launch programs.
  • Assist in the creation and simulation of program P&L scenarios.
  • Assist with Business Plan and Mid-Term Plan budget development for a portfolio of programs under the direction of the supervisor.
  • Build positive relationships and promote cross-functional collaboration among Engineering, Sales, Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, and Purchasing.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining detailed and actionable Open Issues Lists (OIL) and Master Program Timelines.
  • Assist with tracking open issues, resolving roadblocks, and escalating issues as appropriate.
  • Assist with customer communications as directed by the supervisor or Lead Program Manager.
  • Assist in developing program health and status metrics, including the Gate Review Process.
  • Participate in new business pursuits by assisting with business cases, pursuit strategies, and risk analyses.
  • Work with cross-functional team members under the guidance of the Program Manager.
  • Interpret, enforce, and comply with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
  • Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through designated channels.
  • Support Information Security Management (ISM) as part of the management of staff, work, and workplace activities.
  • Support information security as part of the normal management of business operations.
  • Cooperate with Company ISM professionals in implementing information security policies and ensure information is handled in compliance with Global ISM-related regulations.
  • Complete required training or certification programs to support and strengthen the position. Skills & Competencies Problem-Solving / Know-How

  • Ability to effectively and appropriately interface and communicate with a variety of individuals and groups on a frequent basis.
Pay:
$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
