Role:
Child Care Innovations (CCI) BASE Director is responsible for coordinating the daily operations of the out-of-school time program. This position is responsible for planning and implementing activities, providing direct supervision of children, fostering professional relationships with the school personnel, and securing supplies and reports for the program. This position is also responsible for complying with all licensing requirements and regulations as stated by the Colorado Department of Early Childhood for a program of 30+ children daily. This position will close on Tuesday, October 8, 2026 at 4:00p.m.
Primary Duties:
Ensure the program is in compliance with the Colorado Department of Early Childhood rules and regulations for licensing a School-Age Program. Comply with County Health Department regulations, Metro Fire Department regulations, and School District guidelines for safety and supervision. Enroll, interact, supervise and support children to ensure their safety by following and enforcing applicable policies and procedures. Promote the healthiness of the
CCI BASE
program by enrolling a minimum of 30+ kids per day. Supervise 1-3 Program Leaders as assigned. Administrative duties of filing, copying, preparing and implementing lesson plans, monthly calendars, newsletters, and other necessary site forms for child files and staff files. Develop, implement, and evaluate the curriculum for children ranging in age 5-12 years. Promote the positive reputation and image of the

program by having an engaging and quality program. Maintain appropriate ratio and provide staff accountability and professional development. Preparing staff schedules, reviewing staff time sheets, assisting with evaluating Program Leader(s) performance, attending staff meetings, hosting family meetings, and other necessary meetings to facilitate communication and teamwork. Ensure program rooms and play areas are maintained, cleaned, and orderly. Assure that all materials are safe and in good repair for use of children in the program by inspecting, sanitizing, and replacing necessary materials and equipment. Secure supplies, materials and groceries for the program. Submit supporting documentation for accountability of resources. Develop and actively maintain positive communication and relationships with families, children, school personnel, administrative staff, and other community partners. Provide information regarding the program, children's development, and progress in the program to interested parties. Provide training for new staff and develop training plans for Program Leaders. Develop break schedules and themes for seasonal breaks. Observe the budget and spending guidelines for the site by familiarizing self with all aspects of the site budget processes to ensure that all resources are managed effectively and within budgetary constraints. Collaborate with the accounting team to collect records and payments for outstanding balances, along with denying care when necessary for non-payment of services. Prepare reports and monitor revenue and expenses monthly, and work with the accounting department to ensure accounts are in good standing. Performs other duties as assigned to support objectives of increasing access to high-quality early childhood services. This includes but is not limited to participation in meetings, outreach events and general support of operations.
Minimum Qualifications:

Associate's Degree Licenses or Certifications:

Aid/CPR, Universal Precautions Certification Experience:
Two (2) years of experience working as a Director or equivalent

Experience:
Membership in or experience working in diverse communities and supporting the success of students and staff from racial, ethnic, and gender backgrounds that are underrepresented.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Verbal and written communication skills including the ability to give and receive information accurately and present information to individuals Ability to use a computer to enter, retrieve and manipulate data Knowledge of National Afterschool Association (NAA) standards or other quality assessment/improvement programs
