You will:
Drive Warehousing & Logistics Operations:
Serve as a trade specialist leading daily warehousing, delivery, installation, and general construction activities within Utah Correctional Industries.Lead & Supervise Work Crews:
Function as a first-line supervisor/foreman, directing and mentoring inmate work crews and staff to achieve high-quality project and program goals.Empower Pre-Release Offenders:
Provide hands-on vocational training, skill development, and valuable work experience to offenders in the pre-release program, preparing them for successful workforce reintegration.Champion Safety & Security Standards:
Ensure full compliance with safety and environmental guidelines, maintaining rigorous adherence to OSHA, EPA, and correctional security standards.Optimize Operational Excellence:
Inspect materials and products, monitor production standards, track operational data (time, production, cost records), and deliver reports that drive program success. Key Qualifications & Skills Knowledge of principles, theories, and practices of vocational training and program development/evaluation. Demonstrated ability to supervise and lead incarcerated individual work crews effectively and securely. Proficiency in operating, maneuvering, and navigating vehicles, machinery, and tools (including maintenance and repair). Strong verbal and written communication skills to deliver clear instructions, document data, and collaborate effectively.
