Homeowner Services Coordinator Job Description Key Job Responsibilities Advocate for affordable, sustainable homeownership and housing opportunities for low-to- moderate income individuals and families in the HFHT service area by attending events, serving on committees and in other organizations as needed Manage the HFHT's Homeownership Program in the following areas: outreach, application process, homebuyer education and support, move-in and closing process, loan sales, post-purchase support and foreclosure prevention. Conduct outreach to potential applicants and interested individuals and families Respond to inquiries about the Homeownership Program Create and submit updates to outreach materials, including the website Attend events to distribute information about Habitat programs Monitor the application submission email account Manage the application process for new home program Maintain Qualified Loan Originator Status Ensure an appropriate number of qualified applicants are selected Set the application period schedule for the year Hold information sessions about the homeownership program Create and update application materials as needed Distribute applications according to Policies and Procedures Process applications according to Policies and Procedures Coordinate Family Selection Committee review of applicants Train committee members to review applications Coordinate home visits of applicants Convene and chair committee meetings to review applicants Notify applicants of all final determinations Manage the Path to Homeownership Program (Pre-purchase program) Conduct partnership agreement meetings Manage pre-purchase homebuyer education and sweat equity requirements Ensure applicants maintain financial eligibility and make down payment according to the required schedule Support homebuyers through the home buying process Conduct purchase agreement meeting and facilitate any needed modifications to house plan Manage the move-in and closing process Schedule and facilitate walk-throughs of the home with homebuyer, construction staff, and a board member Prepare file for closing Schedule closing Maintain file after closing Provide post-purchase support to HFHT homeowners Communicate with Regions Bank regarding delinquent loans Provide foreclosure prevention support as needed Manage warranty requests Communicate with homeowners as needed Process requests for waiver of deed restrictions Prepare files for loan sales as needed General Office Perform general office duties necessary for efficient affiliate operations Support other programs and events as needed
