ONLINE LEARNING SPECIALIST
Please note: This is a full remote opportunity The Online Learning Specialist I is responsible for the execution and delivery of APIC's online education portfolio, with primary focus on webinar operations, LMS course setup, and virtual learning environments. This position is technology-forward, requiring a strong interest and aptitude in learning management systems (LMS), virtual platforms, and course authoring tools. The ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, along with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities is essential. The Online Learning Specialist I must be able to work under pressure at times to manage a wide variety of activities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and customer service. • Associates Degree or equivalent number of years experience 1-3 years of experience in administrative support, education programs, or online learning support 1-3 years of experience with LMS platforms, virtual meeting tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams), or virtual event platforms Excellent customer service, interpersonal, verbal, and oral communication skills; ability to work collaboratively with a variety of work styles
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong technical aptitude and interest in learning new systems and tools Experience with LMS platforms and/or course authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360) preferred Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining strong attention to detail Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability
Self-management:
Sets well-defined and realistic goals; takes initiative, monitors progress, and is motivated to achieve; manages time effectively and successfully balances multiple and competing priorities Results-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet critical deadlines Customer service oriented with a commitment to quality service and responsiveness Oral communication: Ability to communicate information clearly and concisely with individuals at all levels, including board members and member volunteers Written communication: Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in writing

Summary:
Webinar and Virtual Learning Support (45%) Support the full lifecycle of APIC webinars and virtual programs, including scheduling, setup, and live event support Assist with webinar production in Zoom and other virtual platforms (chat, Q&A, polls, troubleshooting) Coordinate speaker logistics and support faculty with technical preparation as needed Manage webinar setup in the LMS, including registration details, course components, evaluations, and certificates Upload and maintain on-demand webinar content in the LMS catalog Ensure accuracy and consistency across webinar listings, materials, and communications LMS & eLearning Operations (25%) Assist with course setup and maintenance for eLearning programs in the LMS Update and maintain course components including evaluations, certificates, and learner access Support updates to existing courses and content using course authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360) Maintain organized documentation for LMS processes and workflows Perform quality checks to ensure content accuracy and functionality Customer Support and Technical Assistance (20%) Provide frontline support for learners across webinars, eLearning courses, and virtual programs Respond to customer inquiries related to access, registration, and technical issues Troubleshoot LMS, Zoom, and platform-related issues Support internal teams with system-related questions and user support Identify recurring issues and contribute to improving support documentation and processes General Division Support (5%) Assist with updates to online learning pages on APIC's website Ensure webinar and course information is accurate and up to date across platforms Support basic reporting and tracking for online learning activities #LI-EJ1 Equal employment opportunity, including veterans and individuals with disabilities.
