Position Details :
The Practical Nursing Program is seeking a dedicated, student-centered professional to serve as a Part-Time Student Success Coordinator. This position will collaborate with the current Student Success Coordinator and nursing faculty to strengthen student retention, academic performance, NCLEX-PN readiness, and graduate licensure outcomes. Key Responsibilities Provide individualized and small-group academic coaching to Practical Nursing students. Identify students at academic risk and develop structured success and remediation plans. Assist students with test-taking strategies, time management, study skills, clinical judgment, and content review. Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records of coaching, remediation, attendance, and outcomes. Support ATI preparation, practice assessments, focused review, remediation, Content Mastery Series examinations, and Comprehensive Predictor preparation. Facilitate
NCLEX-PN
review sessions and provide continued support to graduates preparing for licensure. Collaborate with the Student Success Coordinator, Program Dean, and faculty to evaluate student needs and improve outcomes. Provide supplemental evening and weekend availability for students who cannot attend daytime sessions. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in higher education, academic support, nursing education, or a related educational environment. Previous experience in student success coaching, academic advising, remediation, tutoring, or retention services strongly preferred. Working knowledge of ATI products, assessments, remediation resources, and NCLEX preparation is important. Strong communication, organization, documentation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to provide supportive but accountable coaching to diverse adult learners. Proficiency with learning management systems, virtual meeting platforms, and standard educational technology. Nursing education or healthcare education experience is highly desirable. Schedule This is a part-time position averaging approximately 20 hours per week. The successful candidate must be available during evenings and weekends to supplement existing daytime student-success services. The specific schedule will be established according to program and student needs. The ideal candidate will be passionate about student achievement and committed to using structured, evidence-informed academic support to strengthen Practical Nursing student progression and
