Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Program Director to lead and oversee impactful community programs that promote health, wellness, and social engagement. In this vital role, you will develop strategic initiatives, foster strong partnerships with community organizations, and ensure the successful implementation of programs that serve diverse populations. Your leadership will inspire teams, engage community members, and drive positive change through innovative programming and effective management. Responsibilities Develop, plan, and execute comprehensive community programs aligned with organizational goals and community needs. Lead community outreach Lead and supervise program staff and volunteers, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated team. Manage Daily implementation Cultivate partnerships with community organizations, healthcare providers, schools, and local agencies to expand program reach and impact. Manage program budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure resources are allocated efficiently to maximize outcomes. Track Key performance metrics Coordinate community outreach efforts through social media management, marketing strategies, public speaking engagements, and grassroots organizing. Collect and analyze data related to program participation, effectiveness, and community feedback to inform continuous improvement. Oversee public health initiatives including addiction counseling support, youth engagement activities, and culturally sensitive services for underserved populations. Facilitate training sessions on topics such as CPR certification, social work practices, or addiction counseling for staff and community members as needed. Oversee Training Skills Proven experience in volunteer management and supervising diverse teams in community settings. Strong public speaking skills with the ability to engage audiences of varied backgrounds effectively. Expertise in program development, project management, and organizational planning. Proficiency in marketing strategies including social media management and community outreach campaigns. Ability to collect data accurately and utilize it for program evaluation; familiarity with data collection tools preferred. Knowledge of public health issues such as addiction recovery support and working with culturally diverse communities. Excellent communication skills for client interaction, team collaboration, and stakeholder engagement. Technical proficiency in relevant software applications for project tracking and reporting purposes. Demonstrated leadership qualities with experience in grassroots organizing Bilingual abilities are highly valued to better serve multilingual communities; experience working with underserved populations is essential. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
