This hybrid role will provide onsite operational and client stakeholder management support for a current and growing engineering delivery program, supporting operations and providing functional management to Actalent's team of onsite consultants. The Program Lead will track, report and drive weekly performance operations, managing overall program performance and compliance, and acting as the primary liaison between the customer and internal Actalent teams to ensure delivery success. This role offers over 50% remote/hybrid flexibility to candidates local to Grand Rapids who are able to work onsite at nearby client locations 2 days/week. Essential Functions Manage day-to-day operations for onsite service delivery programs and Actalent engineering consultants Serve as the primary point of contact for customer coordination and communication Oversee onboarding, offboarding, and ongoing performance of consultants Track program deliverables, budgets, purchase orders, and service-level agreements Organize and present complex data (Excel-based reporting, dashboards, etc.) to stakeholders Coordinate with internal teams (finance, recruiting, leadership) on program needs Conduct regular status updates with internal teams and clients Identify risks within programs and support mitigation plans Support pricing sheets, RFPs, and project coordination activities Duties Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering programs utilizing Agile, SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework), Waterfall, and other project management methodologies to ensure timely and within-budget completion. Coordinate cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop project scope, and define deliverables using tools such as Microsoft Project, Visio, SharePoint, and Jira. Manage project schedules, resource allocation, risk mitigation strategies, and stakeholder communication through comprehensive project management software like VersionOne and Microsoft Office suite. Oversee the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) processes including requirements gathering, test case development, user acceptance testing (UAT), and release management to ensure quality standards are met. Facilitate program governance by adhering to IT governance policies, disaster recovery plans, and compliance standards such as PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge). Collaborate with IT infrastructure teams on cloud computing initiatives involving AWS (Amazon Web Services), SQL databases like Oracle and SQL Server, and enterprise software integration. Drive continuous improvement through analysis skills, organizational skills, negotiation with vendors or stakeholders, and effective communication across all levels of the organization. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required Minimum 6 years of professional experience Minimum 2 years of program, project, and team management experience Strong data reporting and analysis ability with proficiency in MS Excel; ability to organize and communicate large data sets concisely and effectively to customers essential for success in this role Excellent communication and organizational skills Experience providing technical services to clients in aerospace or other highly regulated industries is preferred Familiarity with software development lifecycle is a plus PMP certification or CAPm certification is a plus
