Together with our partners at more than 150 healthcare sites and community organizations across Michigan, YesRx is improving access to free cancer medication for patients who face barriers in getting their treatment. YesRx collects donated cancer medication from individuals across the US who no longer need it and donate it to help another life and at the same time protect the environment from medication waste. ABOUT THE ROLE
YesRx is seeking an experienced, mission-driven Program Manager to support leadership, oversee program operations, enhance organizational systems, ensure grant compliance, and help drive measurable impact across our initiatives. The Program Manager will provide leadership and operational support to advance the YesRx mission. This role works closely with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to manage programs, monitor performance, support grant compliance, coordinate volunteers, and strengthen partnerships across the community. This is an ideal role for a strong nonprofit professional who excels in program management, compliance, data reporting, team coordination, and community engagement. This position serves as a direct pipeline to the YesRx Senior Leadership Team. YesRx is committed to professional development, and this role is designed to prepare you for promotion to executive leadership.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Program Management & Oversight Support the CEO and CMO in overseeing multiple programs and initiatives Monitor implementation timelines, deliverables, and program outcomes Provide calendar management for the organization Track performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement Ensure programs align with organizational goals and funding requirements Help solve operational challenges and enhance internal systems Support strategic planning and program development initiatives Grant Compliance & Financial Coordination Monitor grant and contract compliance requirements Ensure grant-funded activities align with reporting and funding expectations Track budgets, allowable expenses, deadlines, and deliverables Coordinate grant reports, attendance records, narratives, and supporting documentation Maintain organized records for audits, reviews, and compliance monitoring Work with leadership and finance teams on grant oversight and accountability Volunteer Coordination Engage, support, motivate, and coordinate volunteers Assist with onboarding, scheduling, and training support Develop a community engagement calendar for recurring participation at events Promote collaboration and a mission-driven culture Help strengthen organization's relationship with community partners for volunteer engagement and outreach Social Media Management Provide timely updates on the website for volunteer opportunities, good news, and outcomes Manage outside marketing and communications support for projects Identify opportunities to leverage social media for greater outreach and awareness Engagement & Partnerships Support outreach, collaboration, and partnership-building initiatives Assist in advancing community-based awareness across Michigan Develop and maintain tracking documents for numerous applications
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Bachelor's degree preferred in nonprofit management, public administration, business, social services, education, or related field experience may be considered 3-5 years of experience in nonprofit program management, operations, grant coordination, or leadership support Strong organizational and project management skills Experience managing multiple programs, deadlines, and reporting requirements Understanding of grant compliance, program accountability, and reporting systems Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced nonprofits High attention to detail, confidentiality, and professionalism Proficiency in: Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, reporting systems, data tracking, and organizational tools Preferred History working within healthcare, oncology, or community-based nonprofit programs Experience in grant-funded organizations Familiarity with performance measurement, impact reporting, and evaluation tools Track record in coordinating staff, interns, or volunteers

SCHEDULE
Full-time, remote position Schedule will vary based on operational needs, events, or community activities Evening or weekend hours may occasionally be required Schedules and assignments may be adjusted with prior notice
