Job Description

The Program Manager Role We are seeking a York-based Program Manager to drive, scale, and structurally oversee our core grassroots initiatives. The York Program Manager will focus on strategic community engagement, building deep local partnerships, growing our volunteer network, and helping our core programs thrive.
What You'll Do:
Build, oversee, expand, and structurally support our semi-independent community groups (Climate Action Neighborhoods). Direct and chair the Community Engagement Committee, and lead the recruitment and coordination of RegenAll's core volunteer base. Work closely with the York Sustainability Coordinator to align community outreach priorities with organization-led events (such as the Climate Summit, Carbon Neutral Coffee, and Green Drinks). Partner with our Director of Communications to feed program updates, success stories, and educational content into our newsletter and socials. Engage in regular Core Team meetings and strategic planning sessions to align on organizational goals. Partner with the Sustainability Coordinator on additional strategic initiatives and special projects as needed. Qualifications Must be based in or a current resident of York County , with deep familiarity with the local community, organizations, and regional context. A natural ability to engage, mobilize, and inspire action across a diverse community. Solid experience in community organizing, volunteer management, or program coordination. The ability to drive projects forward independently within defined parameters, while staying highly aligned with overall organizational goals. Strong organization and prioritization skills with an eye for detail. Quality written and verbal communication skills for nonprofit correspondence and outreach. Skilled in Google Workspace, project management software, and CRMs (GiveButter experience is a plus). Must have a reliable personal computer and high-speed internet for daily remote work. Willingness to work occasional mornings, evenings, and weekends for community events. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel across York and Lancaster counties, with the physical ability to transport event supplies and work outdoors as needed.
