Job Summary Allamor Support Services is seeking an experienced and dependable Qualified Professional (QP) to support our growing community-based services program in Winston-Salem, NC. We provide services to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD), behavioral health needs, and co-occurring support needs . The QP will provide program oversight and supervision to Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), assist with implementation of Person-Centered Plans (PCPs)/Individual Support Plans (ISPs), review service documentation, support staff training and competency, communicate with members and families, and help ensure services are delivered in accordance with agency policies and applicable North Carolina Medicaid requirements. Key Responsibilities Provide supervision, guidance, and support to DSP/paraprofessional staff Review service notes and other documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance Ensure staff understand and implement each member's PCP/ISP goals, health and safety needs, and support strategies Participate in member intake, service planning meetings, team meetings, and reassessments as appropriate Assist with staff orientation, training, competency verification, and ongoing supervision Conduct member and staff follow-up as needed to monitor quality of services Communicate professionally with members, guardians, families, staff, care managers, and other members of the individual's support team Identify service concerns and assist with corrective actions when needed Assist with incident review, documentation, and follow-up in accordance with agency procedures Support quality assurance and Medicaid compliance activities Assist with development and improvement of agency programs, procedures, and staff practices Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and agency requirements Minimum Qualifications Must meet the North Carolina definition and requirements for a Qualified Professional (QP) Degree and qualifying experience must meet applicable North Carolina requirements Experience working with individuals with I/DD, behavioral health needs, or co-occurring conditions Strong knowledge of person-centered services and community-based supports Experience supervising or providing oversight to DSPs or paraprofessional staff Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to successfully complete required background and registry checks Preferred Qualifications At least 2 years of experience working with the population served Experience with North Carolina Medicaid services Experience with 1915(i) services Experience with Community Living & Supports and/or Respite Experience reviewing service documentation and supervising DSP staff Familiarity with Therap or another electronic documentation system Experience supporting individuals with I/DD and behavioral health needs Position Type & Schedule Full-time, part-time, or contract opportunities may be considered based on experience and agency needs. Expected hours may range from approximately 10-30 hours per week as Allamor Support Services continues to grow.
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 - 30.0 per week
