Job Summary:
The Referral Coordinator is responsible for providing resources and family-centered coaching to low-income individuals/families within BGCAP's service region, including assessments, plan development, advocacy, advising, service coordination, follow up, and performance reporting. They promote awareness of BGCAP services and coordinate with agency team members to move families towards their pathway out of poverty.
Education and Experience Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field is preferred; OR equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
  • Able to demonstrate compassion, empathy, and active listening.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic databases
  • Respect to diversity.
  • Pass criminal background check and alcohol/drug screening.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
