PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Leads recurring meetings with assigned clients by preparing agendas, presenting financial and operational results, addressing questions and concerns, and confirming priorities and next steps to maintain strong relationships and service satisfaction. Leads comprehensive analysis of revenue cycle and financial performance, translating complex data and trends across charges, payments, adjustments, collections, accounts receivable, aging, denials, and payer performance into actionable insights. Identifies emerging risks and opportunities, evaluates root causes of performance variances, and recommends targeted strategies to optimize revenue cycle performance and financial outcomes. Drives the end-to-end investigation and resolution of complex client concerns, leveraging cross-functional partnerships and data-driven analysis to identify root causes, establish accountability and resolution timelines, escalate barriers as appropriate, and provide proactive communication through successful resolution and follow-up. Maintains meeting minutes, action-item logs, escalation documentation, and client records; monitors commitments and follows up with responsible parties to support timely completion and accountability. Supports new client implementations, process-improvement initiatives, and special projects by communicating requirements, identifying workflow gaps, and collaborating with subject-matter experts to promote compliant and sustainable operations.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent and four to five years of experience in client relations, account management, customer experience, business operations, financial performance, or another client-facing role. Experience serving as a primary point of contact for an assigned portfolio or book of business, leading recurring meetings, addressing concerns, and coordinating follow-up with cross-functional teams. Experience reviewing and presenting financial, claims, utilization, service, or operational performance information to communicate trends, variances, risks, and results. Demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver professional PowerPoint presentations and communicate complex information clearly to client and internal audiences. Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and collaboration tools, with strong communication, relationship management, organization, judgment, problem-solving, confidentiality, and follow-through skills. Ability to learn healthcare revenue cycle concepts and travel as necessary to support client and business needs.
DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in healthcare, health plan, employee benefits, physician services, financial services, or another healthcare services environment. Experience managing an assigned book of business and supporting ongoing client performance, satisfaction, or retention. Familiarity with medical billing, revenue cycle operations, payer processes, claims data, or healthcare financial reporting. Experience with reporting tools, workflow systems, client implementations, or process-improvement initiatives. The role prepares and delivers client-facing presentations, leads recurring performance discussions, and coordinates timely follow-up on questions, issues, and action items. The Advisor partners with operations, finance, analytics, and support teams to interpret results, resolve concerns, and identify opportunities for process and service improvement.
