Job Summary Join us as a Rhody Squash Co-Coordinator to inspire young minds through sport and education! The Rhody Squash Program Co-Coordinator supports the overall operation and success of the Rhody Squash after-school program by assisting with daily program logistics, operations, and participant engagement. Working closely with the Program Coordinator, this role collaborates with staff, volunteers, and community partners to ensure the program runs smoothly, safely, and effectively while fostering a welcoming, inclusive, and positive environment for all participants. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of youth while helping deliver a high-quality program that supports their academic, athletic, and personal growth.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Coordinate and provide academic tutoring for participants, including homework assistance, reading and math support, and individualized guidance to help students achieve their educational goals while promoting a positive and encouraging learning environment. Assist with preparing and serving meals for the Rhody Squash after-school program. Help maintain program spaces, equipment, and supplies to ensure a safe and organized environment. Help maintain accurate attendance and participant documentation. Support communication with parents/guardians regarding schedules, updates, participant needs, and overall well-being. Assist the Rhody Squash Program Coordinator with setting up, organizing, and coordinating program events, including preparation of materials and equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in youth programs, after-school programs, or event coordination preferred. Ability to work with children, families, and community partners. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, youth-centered environment. CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain). In this role, you will help inspire confidence, foster teamwork, and encourage healthy habits among youth while gaining meaningful hands-on experience. Pay:
$21.00 - $23.00 per hour
