Establishes and maintains an extensive and current file of informion on local public, prive and voluntary service agencies and organizions by service. Compiles, organizes and consolides informion on service organizions to include: addresses, phone numbers, hours of operion, type and range of services provided, eligibility requirements, intake procedures and cost. Organizes resource informion to facilite easy and quick referral and retrieval of informion. Identifies gaps and duplicions of service. Confirms exchange of and updes resource informion least quarterly. Establishes procedures to respond to interim informion changes, and develops and publishes a referral dabase for users. Provides relocion services as needed. Develops and executes a marketing plan for informion and referral services. Develops and conducts assessments to identify customer needs. Recommends stregies to integre services and resources to better meet the needs and interests of the target populion. Develops a variety of advertising products such as flyers, posters, video and other printed media to support established marketing plans. Conducts intake interviews with clients in need of services. Determines the nure of problems or issues to identify factors th impact on definition of the problem and determine the client¿s ability to function successfully in other areas. Conducts intake interviews to discuss resources and evaluions in areas th may include: financial management, medical problems, marital difficulties, educional or career issues, educional or behavioral problems of clients or children, requirement for social services assistance, transition assistance, job searches, relocion adjustment, crisis intervention counseling, emotional support, eliciting disclosure of informion necessary to provided approprie assistance. Provides informion and counseling to individuals and families on comparisons of similar agency services and policies, explanion of applicion procedures and requirements, comparison of consultion services to assist military families and coordinion of services. Provides consultion services to civilian agencies to assist military families. Acts as a direct liaison to agency services when problems require immedie tention, are complex or controversial in nure or a client¿s limited ability requires higher level assistance. May provide training or briefs on informion and referral, and relocion, services. Monitors programs on a regular basis, and inities corrective action to ensure support of opering programs of MCCS. Develops long- range plans in conjunction with internal opering directives. Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy. Assists customers and communices positively in a friendly manner. Takes action to solve problems quickly. Alerts the higher-level supervisor, or proper point of contact for help when problems arise. Adheres to safety regulions and standards. Promptly reports any observed workplace hazards, and any injury, occupional illness, and/or property damage resulting from workplace mishaps to the immedie supervisor. Adheres to established standards of actively supporting the principles of the EEO program and prevention of sexual harassment. Maintains and enforces security of funds, merchandise, supplies and equipment to preclude or minimize the potential for fraud, waste and abuse. Performs other duties as assigned.
