Assistant Extension Agent (EXS) Full Time
JR-10337 JOB SUMMARY
The Livestock and Forages County Agent is a member of the Extension staff of Clemson University. The agent is responsible for working cooperatively with other county and state staff to plan, implement, maintain and evaluate Extension education programs for adult and/or youth clientele within designated coverage area. Other duties as assigned.

  • Assess and deliver educational programming based on local need within the Livestock and Forages Program Area to adult and youth audiences within your county/counties.
Educate through direct methods such as individual consultation, training classes, group meetings, tours, demonstrations, and volunteer training and/or management, including online/virtual tactics. Communicate knowledge through indirect methods such as written, audio, visual, and/or social content. Document programming impacts for targeted stakeholders. Associate

Expected Salary Range 39,800
  • 58200 Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson's compensation guidelines.

  • In the event of an emergency closure or modified operations, this position is necessary to maintain/resume essential support functions, deliver direct care services, and/or provide recovery support before normal operations resume.
Some positions in this category may be required to work remotely or be on-call.
