Job Description
Student Wellness Program Coordinator - Student Wellness
- Galveston, Texas, United States

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in health education, public health, wellness, student affairs, or a related field and three (3) years of job-related experience in health education, peer education, student programming, or related areas.
Job Summary:
- The Student Wellness Program Coordinator supports the development, implementation, and evaluation of health programs and activities that foster a culture of well-being for students. This position plays a key role in supporting student well-being programs, coordinating intramural and recreation activities, and providing health promotion education and outreach.
Work Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.
- Must be flexible to work occasional evening or weekend hours supporting events and programs.
Job Duties:
- Develop, implement, and sustain student health and well-being programs.
- + Coordinate prevention and outreach events designed to improve student health and well-being.
- Collaborate and serve as a liaison with key partners to enhance student wellness.
- + Collaborate with campus departments, committees, vendors, and community organizations to expand the reach and impact of wellness programming.
- Support departmental operations, events and special projects as needed.
- + Provide general support to students seeking wellness-related resources and referrals. + Manage and respond to incoming requests for wellness education presentations, tabling events, and outreach collaborations. + Maintain accurate records of outreach activities, participation, and evaluation data. + Performs related duties as required.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- + Moderate skills in communication both oral and written; use of current and emerging technologies to deliver services.
Salary Range:
- Commensurate with experience.
