Community Program Coordinator (Lockwood & I-10)

PART TIME POSITION 1-2

days per week 33 hours per MONTH Bilingual Preferred Seeking resourceful and dynamic and versatile individual to lead a variety of engaging programs for a diverse group of participants. Here are some key points to consider when seeking the right candidate:

Job Responsibilities:

Program Facilitation:

Lead activities such as Arts & Crafts, BINGO, Budgeting, Cooking Classes, Exercise Classes, and more.

Community Engagement:

Strong network with community partners to enhance program offerings.

Resident Interaction:

Meet with new residents to introduce them to the program and distribute a monthly calendar.

Volunteer Management:

Recruit, organize, and supervise volunteer staff.

Event Coordination:

Plan and schedule programs for holidays and special events.

Qualifications:

Experience:

Prior experience working in the community is essential. Preference for candidates with a background in GED preparation and/or English as a Second Language.

Skills:

Must be resourceful, self-motivated, and socially interactive.

Education:

High School diploma required.

Screening:

Must pass a background check and drug screen.

Availability:

Schedule:

Minimum of 1-2 days a week, from 12 PM to 6 PM. Days are flexible.

$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
