10/2/2026 5:00 PM Employment Opportunity Under the direct supervision of the Field Supervisor and general direction of the Water Reclamation Manager, the Biosolids Program Coordinator directs daily operations and leads a technical crew at the Orem Water Reclamation Facility. This role is responsible for overseeing the facility's solids handling, digestion, and dewatering streams, optimizing treatment process control systems to maintain regulatory compliance with the facility s UPDES permit, State rules, and USEPA environmental standards. Qualifications Key Responsibilities Manages daily solids handling operations, including sludge digestion, disposal, chemical conditioning optimization, and dewatering equipment performance. Qualifications & Requirements High school diploma or GED equivalent. At least two years of progressively responsible experience in wastewater treatment, maintenance, and repair. Valid Utah Commercial Driver's License (CDL) appropriate for the position (must be maintained). Utah Grade IV Wastewater Operator Certification (must obtain and maintain; not required at the time of application or initial hire). Pay and Benefits Individual starting salary will depend on qualifications, certifications, and experience. The City also provides a comprehensive and competitive benefits package. Schedule 80 hours across 9 workdays over a two-week pay period, earning every other Friday off.
