9/2/2026 5:00 PM Employment Opportunity Under the general direction of the Water Reclamation Manager or Field Supervisor, the Plant Operations Program Coordinator directs daily operations and leads a technical crew at the Orem Water Reclamation Facility. This position is responsible for overseeing the entire liquid treatment train and solids handling streams, optimizing process control systems to maintain biological stability and ensure compliance with the UPDES permit. Qualifications Operating on a standard schedule of 5 days a week, 8 hours a day (with required on-call availability for after-hours call-outs and emergency overtime), this role leads technical and operational workflows at a wastewater treatment facility. Using SCADA automation, WIMS software, and real-time laboratory analysis, the position fine-tunes chemical dosing and biological treatment processes to maintain overall plant stability and strict compliance with state and USEPA regulations. Candidates must possess and maintain a valid Utah Grade IV Wastewater Operator Certification or obtain one within 12 months of hire.
