Job Description
Aide - SEM Please provide: Resume This position is for approximately 22 hours per week. Position Overview The Aide - SEM provides support for enrichment programs serving gifted students by assisting with program coordination, implementing enrichment projects, maintaining records, and supporting instructional activities aligned with district program goals. Aide, SEM Key Responsibilities Coordinate enrichment program components, including activities, projects, and instructional materials. Collaborate with district personnel and community organizations supporting gifted education programs. Implement enrichment projects and instructional activities designed for advanced learners. Evaluate recommended students for eligibility in enrichment programs. Maintain program records, documentation, and financial tracking for assigned programs. Assist with recruiting, training, and coordinating staff or volunteers supporting enrichment programs. Monitor assigned program budgets and related financial activities. Participate in meetings, workshops, and professional development sessions. Provide enrichment instruction, including research, technology, and writing skills. Perform other related duties as assigned. Job Requirements - Minimum Qualifications Skills Operating office equipment and software applications Planning and managing program activities Preparing and maintaining accurate records Knowledge Educational enrichment programs for gifted students District policies and instructional practices Community resources supporting student programs Abilities Coordinate program activities and events Communicate effectively with diverse individuals Set priorities and manage multiple tasks Work collaboratively with school staff and community partners Responsibility Works under direct supervision, coordinating enrichment program activities and supporting gifted education initiatives. Work Environment Work is performed primarily in the classroom and school environments. Experience Job-related experience with increasing levels of responsibility is required. Education Bachelor's degree in a job-related area. Required Testing None specified. Certificates and Licenses None specified. Continuing Education / Training District-required annual training.
