Position Description You will serve as a
F-35 SITE ACTIVATION LEAD - SUPERVISORY PROGRAM MANAGER
in the
F-35 LIGHTNING II JOINT PROGRAM OFFICE
(JPO) of
PEO FOR JOINT STRIKE FIGHTER.
Position Duties/Responsibilities You will develop and deploy a family of highly common and affordable next-generation strike aircraft to meet operational needs. You will be responsible for overall management, direction, control and integration of all program elements. You will provide executive level direction, strategic program analysis an program management oversight for a high-performing workforce. You will function as the principal management authority for the event-drive program management. You will serve as the Chief of Lightning Site Activation (LSA), providing executive-level direction, strategic program analysis, and program management oversight for a high-performing, cross-functional. You will function as the F-35 JPO's principal management authority for the event-driven program management and integration lifecycle required to introduce, field, and integrate the F-35 weapon system capability. You will develop and deploy a family of highly common and affordable next-generation strike aircraft to meet operational needs. You will direct a multi-disciplinary team of 48 support contractors, government civilians, US military, and foreign partner military personnel executing land and ship site activations worldwide. You will serve as the principal JPO Review Chair for formal Sustainment Readiness Reviews (SRRs), Delta SRRs, and Initial Operational Capability Supportability Reviews. You will manage the technical 35%/65%/95% Design Review pipeline for military construction and ship modifications, ensuring strict ICD-705 alignment for prompt Special Access Program Facility (SAPF) accreditation.
