JOB TITLE
Part-Time ISAEP Coordinator
IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR
Director of Community Learning
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Under the supervision of the Director of Community Learning, the Individual Student Alternative Education Plan (ISAEP) Coordinator is responsible for students who are at least 16 years of age and enrolled in high school programs who are having difficulty finding success in the regular classroom environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Facilitates instruction that is focused on the four components of GED testing. Monitors student progress towards completing al components of the ISAEP program. Schedules GED readiness tests and GED tests for students. Assigns student account information for various web-based programs that students use in preparation for the program. Collaborates with the Director of Community Learning to ensure students qualify for the ISAEP program. Creates opportunities for students to gain knowledge about career options. Works closely with the counseling staff at the local high schools. Creates a learning environment that allows each ISAEP student the best opportunity to complete the program. Performs other duties as required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree is required. Teaching experience preferred.

Work requires reaching, pushing, and pulling, use of hands to grasp, handle or feel, fine manipulation, and repetitive motions. Vocal communication is required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels. Visual acuity is required for preparing and analyzing written or computer data, operation of office equipment, determining the accuracy and thoroughness of work, and observing general surroundings and activities. The worker is not subject to adverse environmental conditions.
