Senior Security Specialist/PM

Summary The Senior Security Specialist / Program Manager leads daily security and access control operations while providing program oversight and hands‑on support in a high‑security federal environment. This role combines leadership, operational security, and customer service. •This position is contingent upon award and not currently funded• Responsibilities Lead and train Access Control Specialists; provide coverage when staff are unavailable Coordinate schedules to ensure continuous cleared staffing at visitor desks Support program planning, schedules, deliverables, and resources Conduct security briefings and debriefings Assist the COMSEC Manager with material transfers, inventories, shipments, and documentation Implement policies outlined in the FBI Central Office of Record COMSEC Manual Maintain a professional, customer‑focused security operation. Other duties as assigned Qualifications Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility Bachelor's degree + 3 years of relevant security experience or 5+ years in a security‑related field Experience in physical, industrial, and/or information security Strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Adobe Acrobat Program management experience with strong organizational and leadership skills Preferred Qualifications Prior experience leading access control or visitor management teams in a federal or cleared facility Experience supporting COMSEC operations and working with controlled cryptographic material Familiarity with FBI, DoD, or other federal security policies and procedures.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Skill in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment. Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook. Knowledge of federal government contracting business processes.

Qualifications:
