Program Director is responsible for the overall leadership, management, coordination, and quality of assigned mental health programs and services. The Program Director ensures that services are delivered in accordance with the organization's mission, policies and procedures, applicable state and federal regulations, payer requirements, and established standards of clinical and operational excellence. Program Director provides leadership to clinical and direct-care staff, monitors service delivery, supports staff development, oversees documentation and compliance, coordinates with internal and external stakeholders, and promotes positive outcomes for individuals receiving services. Duties Provide daily leadership and oversight of assigned mental health programs. Ensure programs operate in accordance with organizational policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements. Develop and maintain program workflows, schedules, staffing plans, and operational systems. Monitor program performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Ensure appropriate staffing levels and coverage to meet the needs of individuals served. Maintain a professional, trauma-informed, person-centered, and recovery-oriented environment. Recruit, interview, orient, train, supervise, and evaluate program staff as assigned. Provide regular supervision and performance feedback. Ensure employees maintain required credentials, certifications, background checks, and training. Monitor staff compliance with required documentation and service-delivery expectation Qualifications Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Human Services, Behavioral Health, or a related field; master's degree preferred. Relevant experience in behavioral health, mental health, developmental services, social services, or a related human-services field. Demonstrated supervisory or management experience. Knowledge of mental health service delivery and person-centered practices. Strong understanding of documentation, quality assurance, compliance, and service coordination. Ability to communicate effectively with individuals served, families, staff, providers, and regulatory entities. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet established deadlines. Strong organizational, leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality. Must meet all applicable education, experience, credentialing, and background requirements for the position and services provided. Valid CPR certification is preferred; additional certifications related to social work or public health are advantageous.
