Aftercare Planner

Recovery House, Inc. is seeking a motivated Aftercare Planner to assist clients in setting up after treatment supports for clients completing our program. This role also occasionally assists with screening and intake, as well as other house tasks, such as client transport. Screeners should be comfortable interfacing with clients and providers in person, on the phone, and virtually. Individuals who apply for this position must be driven to succeed, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and willingness to assist in multiple departments. Our ideal candidate is self-motivating and familiar with both customer service and addiction recovery. Patience and active listening are key requirements. Recovery House is a regional leader, providing the highest quality of inpatient addiction treatment services for adults. We offer a series of structured programs that provide effective, compassionate treatment for individuals dealing with all forms of chemical dependency. These include addiction to alcohol, prescription drugs, heroin, cocaine and other drugs. Recovery House is a multi-program agency, including a 34 bed, in-patient, medical detox and treatment unit for adults, age 18 and up, as well as two lower intensity units with 12 and 16 units respectively, for the same population. Additionally, our Public Inebriate Program provides screening services to determine the best placement for individuals picked up by law enforcement for drug and alcohol related activity. Duties include (but are not limited to):

• Communicating with Counselors, who identify what aftercare services are required
• Working with the client to set up services, ranging from housing, treatment, medical needs, and other supports.

• House Safety Tasks
• Administrative Support to Leadership Team
• Other tasks vital to program operations

Job Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License
• Willingness to learn and perform
• High School Diploma (or equivalent), College Degree (preferred)
