Job Overview Partners for Community Development, Inc. is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Weatherization Program Specialist to provide administrative, scheduling, clerical, and program coordination support for our Weatherization Programs in Milwaukee County. This position serves as the primary administrative support role for the Weatherization Program Manager, helping coordinate daily operations, maintain program compliance, support customers, and ensure the effective delivery of energy efficiency services What You'll Do As a Weatherization Program Specialist, you will assist the Weatherization Program Manager in the administration and daily operations of energy efficiency programs.
Responsibilities include:
Coordinate scheduling and daily work assignments for weatherization crews and contractors. Assist the Program Manager with monitoring program production, expenditures, and project progress, and customer service needs. Communicate with homeowners, tenants, property managers, contractors, community partners, and funding agencies. Support day-to-day office operations and assist management with administrative functions necessary for successful program delivery. Provide administrative support to other program staff as needed. Assist with program reporting and documentation to ensure projects are completed and eligible for reimbursement. Support intake and eligibility processes for prospective customers. Maintain accurate records, client files, databases, and program documentation. Prepare reports, meeting minutes, correspondence, and other administrative materials. Generate and distribute program communications and client materials. Attend community outreach events to promote available services. Assist with data entry and tracking to help achieve program goals. Qualifications Required High School Diploma, GED, or HSED. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Administrative, clerical, customer service, or office support experience. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with computers and office software. Valid Wisconsin driver's license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance. Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and low-income households. Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 30 pounds. Preferred Associate degree or equivalent related work experience. Experience in office administration, scheduling, reporting, or program coordination. Experience working with community service, housing, construction, energy efficiency, or nonprofit programs.
