Company Description Established in 2009, ABLE Residential & Community Options, LLC has proudly been servicing individuals with special needs and mental health diagnoses in Manitowoc County for 14 years with additional services extending into Sheboygan and Winnebago Counties. Our service array features individualized, group, and community orientated programming; focusing on skill development and community integration. Our Mission ABLE believes that every individual possesses the ability to achieve their highest potential. Part-Time | Est. 30-40 hours/week |
Hours Fluctuate Seasonally:
School Year, M-F 12pm-5:45pm, Select Saturdays 8:45am-5:15pm; Summer, M-F 8am-5pm Position Summary The Program Development Member is a full-time, in-person role responsible for designing, leading, and supporting inclusive programming for individuals with special needs. Team members work under the direction of an experienced management team , contributing to a dynamic rotation of program planning, live session facilitation, and mentorship alongside a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities Include:
Program Development Develop engaging, adaptable programs that meet diverse participant needs Building upon our core skills focuses to promote participant growth in independence Maintain a rolling calendar of sessions in execution, planning, and research stages Session Facilitation & Support Lead live after school programs , Saturday outings , summer camps , or community-based outings Provide leadership and direction to the Mentor Team as to empower successful plan facilitation Provide direct care and mentorship during sessions as needed Collaboration & Weekly Meetings Attend weekly team meetings to review progress, assign tasks, and improve performance Participate in structured feedback to continue to grow, adapt, and improve Clearly document all plans, notes, and action items in shared platforms Administrative & Logistical Support Prepare and organize materials for daily programs Connect professionally with community members and local businesses to schedule outings and field trips Digitally maintain organization of Programming materials and plans
What We're Looking For:
Required:
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities , autism , or mental health challenges Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Familiarity with Google Workspace , online documentation , and virtual tools Reliable transportation and flexible availability, including some
Saturdays Preferred:
Experience in adaptive recreation , behavioral therapy , community-based instruction , or youth programming Why Join
