Key Requirements:
- Track and manage project milestones from the initial quote and design phase through validation and full-scale plant production
- Align internal departments
- including engineering, quality control, procurement, tooling, and plant operations
- with project goals
- Oversee investment costs, resource allocation, part supply schedules, and capital expenditure forecasts
- Identify potential bottlenecks, log project risks, and formulate immediate contingency or remediation plans
- Act as the primary contact for client reviews, progress updates, and engineering change requests
- Ensure adherence to automotive quality standards such as IATF 16949, plant safety rules, and internal business systems
- Strong skills in MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and specialized project tracking software
- 3-7+ years of project management or product launch experience within a similar environment with manufacturing processes (stamping, casting, or assembly), reading technical drawings, and using ERP/PLM tools like SAP
- Experience in an automotive OEM or tier-parts manufacturing environment
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Management, or a related technical field
