This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise in environmental science, project management, and regulatory frameworks to protect public health and the environment. You will oversee complex projects, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and communicate effectively with clients and regulatory agencies. Your proactive approach will drive innovative solutions, ensuring projects meet all safety and environmental standards while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Responsibilities Lead and manage industrial hygiene projects from inception through completion, ensuring adherence to project scope, budget, and timeline. Conduct comprehensive environmental field sampling, indoor air quality assessments, noise monitoring, and hazard evaluations in outdoor and industrial settings. Develop detailed technical reports, safety protocols, and compliance documentation utilizing technical writing skills for diverse audiences. Coordinate permitting phases with regulatory agencies, including EPA (Environmental Protection Agency), OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration), and local environmental authorities. Analyze data collected during fieldwork to identify hazards, trends, and areas for improvement; prepare clear data summaries for clients and internal teams. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of environmental laws, regulations, and best practices in environmental consulting to ensure all projects meet or exceed compliance standards. Collaborate with clients across industries Oversee laboratory testing procedures related to environmental samples; interpret results to inform project decisions. Provide mentorship to junior staff on technical procedures, safety protocols, and report writing; foster a team environment focused on excellence. Experience A minimum of five years of proven experience practicing in an industrial hygiene role with a strong background in industrial hygiene consulting. Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards. Extensive knowledge of OSHA regulations, EPA standards, and other industrial hygiene best practices and guidelines Must have a proficiency in technical report writing with the ability to communicate complex findings clearly and effectively. Hands-on outdoor work experience involving various industrial hygiene sampling techniques in various terrains and weather conditions. Skilled in using Microsoft Word and Excel Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data from laboratory tests or field measurements accurately. Excellent client communication skills to present findings confidently and recommend practical solutions aligned with client needs.
