Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Maintenance Technician Apprentice and kickstart your career in industrial maintenance! This paid apprenticeship offers hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment, where you'll develop essential skills in equipment repair, electrical diagnostics, and mechanical troubleshooting. Under the guidance of experienced technicians, you'll learn to maintain and troubleshoot complex machinery, ensuring smooth operations and safety compliance. This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to gain practical knowledge in industrial systems and advance their technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on kitchen equipment, HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and refrigeration units. Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions promptly. Maintain the interior and exterior of the restaurant, including lighting, flooring, doors, and parking areas. Coordinate with our Maintenance Director for specialized repairs and inspections. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and local building regulations. Maintain maintenance logs, work orders, and inventory of tools and repair parts. Assist with emergency repairs to minimize disruptions to restaurant operations. Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Previous maintenance experience in restaurants, hospitality, or commercial facilities preferred. Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance. Ability to read technical manuals and use maintenance tools and equipment safely. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and respond to emergency maintenance calls as needed. Willing to travel out of state
