We are looking for an experienced, highly organized Project Manager to take ownership of projects from the time they are sold through fabrication, delivery, installation, and final closeout. This is a hands-on position. The right person will be comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously, communicating directly with customers and vendors, coordinating production and installation, solving problems independently, and keeping projects on schedule and on budget. Experience in the sign-industry is not necessary; however, experience in architectural millwork, specialty construction, custom fabrication, environmental graphics, commercial construction, or a similar project-based business is highly relevant. Responsibilities Work with architects, owners, or contractors to develop sign packages Review plans, drawings, specifications, and project requirements Manage projects from contract/sale through completion Coordinate customer approvals and project revisions Prepare and track submittals and shop drawings Obtain pricing and coordinate purchasing with vendors Coordinate production schedules and outside fabrication Schedule deliveries and field installation Manage job flow to ensure deadlines are met or exceeded Communicate regularly with customers, architects, contractors, vendors, and installers Identify project risks and resolve problems before they affect schedule or profitability Track project costs, commitments, change orders, and billing Maintain accurate project documentation Coordinate punch lists and project closeout Provide owners with timely updates on project status, schedule, and financial performance Qualifications 5+ years of project coordination or project management 2+ years experience in specialty construction, architectural millwork, custom fabrication or related field Strong organizational and follow up skills Excellent written and verbal communication Ability to read and understand architectural drawings Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously Able to work independently and make sound decisions Proficient in Microsoft Office or equivalent software Adobe Creative Suite, Corel or CAD experience Non-negligent driver's license.
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
