Drive Operational Success. Interstate Assembly Systems, a division of Interstate Companies, is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead our production operations in Surprise, Arizona . This leadership role is responsible for overseeing production, materials management, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and operational performance. What You'll Do As Production Manager, you will: Lead daily manufacturing operations to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and profitability goals are achieved. Provide leadership and direction to production, planning, materials, engineering support, quality, warranty, and technical teams. Develop and execute continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, quality, and operational excellence. Monitor key operational and financial metrics to drive informed business decisions. Establish and maintain strong customer relationships while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Identify opportunities for business growth through diversification of products, services, and customer markets. Drive accountability and performance through effective communication, coaching, and employee development. Ensure compliance with all company safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Support strategic planning and execution to achieve branch and organizational objectives. Represent Interstate Assembly Systems within industry associations and community organizations. Uphold Interstate Companies' commitment to delivering exceptional service and customer experiences. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Previous leadership experience as a Plant Manager, Production Manager, Operations Manager, or similar manufacturing leadership role. Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, production planning, inventory management, and quality systems. Experience managing business performance through financial metrics, budgeting, and operational reporting. Proven background implementing Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma, or related methodologies. Strong leadership, team building, and employee development skills. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. High school diploma or equivalent required. Ability to travel occasionally as needed. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Operations Management, Manufacturing, or related field. Experience within metal fabrication, assembly, industrial manufacturing, truck equipment, or heavy-duty vehicle industries. Lean or Six Sigma certification.
