Your impact We are looking to add a Project Controls Professional to join our team based in the Western U.S. The ideal candidate will report to our Phoenix, AZ or Portland, OR office. If you're looking for a challenge, consider joining our team where you will be a major contributor to the growth of exciting projects in our Electronics group. You will work with the project controls team to provide weekly financial updates and prepare for and participate in monthly project reviews. You'll monitor budgets against actual costs and forecasts, ensuring accurate cost tracking. Here's what you'll need 5+ years professional experience in the engineering consulting industry as a project controls professional setting up projects, managing budgets and schedules, and monitoring subcontracts. An understanding of accounting fundamentals and practices. Computer skills (Advanced Excel skills, working knowledge within Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint) An aptitude to learn. Ability to solve a range of basic problems and analyze possible solutions. Perform a range of straight-forward assignments. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Ideally, You'll Also Have:
Bachelor's Degree in Cost Management, Engineering, Project Management, Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience in lieu of education. Experience working in EcoSys (IPCS), and reporting. Experience in using and understanding earned value progress and experience in all phases of home office engineering Experience with a variety of contract mechanisms (Time & Materials [T&M], Lump Sum, Cost Plus Fee, Unit Price/T&M). Previous experience and understanding of client contracts, bid and proposal documents.
