Position Summary:
C.W. Driver Companies is seeking an experienced Senior Project Planner to support project planning and scheduling efforts across estimating, preconstruction, and field operations. This role partners closely with the Director of Project Planning, project teams, and operational leadership to develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules throughout all phases of construction. The ideal candidate is highly organized, technically proficient in Primavera P6, and capable of collaborating with multiple stakeholders to ensure projects remain on track and aligned with overall project goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and distribute bid, preconstruction, and construction schedules in collaboration with project teams and operational leadership. Support project teams with schedule updates, change management, and incorporation of delays or revisions into project schedules. Review schedules regularly to ensure they accurately reflect current project conditions, milestones, and sequencing. Assist with development and maintenance of CPM schedules using Primavera P6. Provide schedule reports, updates, and wall-size schedule plots as requested by project teams and leadership. Archive and maintain project schedules and planning documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Attend project meetings and coordinate with field operations, project management, estimating, and marketing teams. Mentor and train Primavera P6 users and provide technical support to project teams as needed. Direct and support junior project planners while promoting best practices in project planning and scheduling. Educate project teams on proper scheduling methodologies and effective use of planning tools. Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients, design teams, subcontractors, and internal departments. Promote C.W. Driver's core values through collaboration, communication, and teamwork.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience). 7+ years of construction project planning and scheduling experience. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Demonstrated expertise in Primavera P6 scheduling software. Strong understanding of construction administration processes, including RFIs, submittals, procurement, and scheduling coordination. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.

Detail Physical Requirements:
This role requires the ability to lift plans and drawings up to 20 pounds and occasionally navigate active construction sites. Specific vision abilities include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Reasonable accommodations will be made as necessary.
Work Environment:
Work is primarily performed in an office environment, with occasional visits to active construction sites where exposure to weather, moving machinery, heights, and other construction-related conditions may occur. Noise levels range from moderate in office settings to loud in field environments.
