In this role, you will support the planning, coordination, and management of development projects from inception through completion and turnover to construction. Your energetic approach will help ensure projects stay on schedule, within budget, and meet quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in construction management while contributing to impactful development initiatives. You will work closely with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution and foster a collaborative environment. Responsibilities Assist in preparing and updating project schedules using construction management software such as Primavera P6 and MS Project, ensuring timely progress tracking. Support the development team with architectural, design and engineering estimates by gathering data and analyzing costs associated with the determined scope of work for any given development project . Coordinate project documentation including consulting proposals, change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), and submittals to maintain organized records. Collaborate with project teams to monitor construction site activities, ensuring design details, calling out errs or omissions and assisting in ensuring quality standards are upheld. Ability to draw up plans and renderings using sketch-up and CAD. Utilize Bluebeam for reviewing plans, markups, and transmitting digital documents efficiently across teams. Assist in tracking project milestones, deadlines, and deliverables to keep projects on schedule through effective project management practices. Communicate regularly with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve issues promptly and maintain clear lines of coordination. Qualifications Prior experience or minimum of 3 year internship in construction management or related field is required; a strong interest in construction development is essential. Familiarity with designing software is highly recommended and advantageous. Knowledge of project scheduling software including Primavera P6 or MS Project is highly desirable. Experience with construction management software like ProCore or Bluebeam enhances your ability to succeed in this role. Understanding of design development, construction site operations, and the entitlement process is necessary. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
