Job Description

About General Pump Company General Pump Company has served Southern California and the Central Coast since 1952, providing water well, pump, and related field services. We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Coordinator to support our Camarillo branch and help keep projects organized and moving efficiently from planning through completion. About the Role The Project Coordinator works closely with Project Managers, field personnel, operations, vendors, and clients to coordinate project documentation, schedules, materials, logistics, and communication. This role is a key organizational resource for the branch and also provides general administrative support as needed. What You Will Do
  • Support Project Managers with project schedules, timelines, milestones, documentation, and deliverables.
  • Prepare and maintain job folders, including maps, photos, job details, permits, quotes, schedules, job plans, and other required documentation.
  • Track project status, open action items, and outstanding information and follow up with the appropriate parties.
  • Coordinate project-related communication with clients, vendors, field teams, and internal departments as directed by Project Managers.
  • Follow up with vendors and suppliers regarding materials, orders, availability, and delivery timelines.
  • Assist with project scheduling and tracking of rental equipment and other project resources.
  • Help ensure field teams have the documentation, materials, and information needed prior to mobilization.
  • Assist with bid website monitoring and tracking of potential project opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate, organized, and accessible project files and records.
  • Provide general branch administrative support, including phones, mail, office supplies, basic HR-related administrative support, meetings, and special projects as needed. What We Are Looking For
  • 3+ years of experience in project coordination, project administration, construction administration, operations support, or a related role.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and follow-up items in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with office, project, and field teams.
  • Strong follow-through and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving coordination issues. Preferred Experience
  • Experience in construction, water/wastewater, utilities, engineering, field services, or another project-driven environment.
  • Experience coordinating vendors, materials, equipment, schedules, or field operations.
  • Familiarity with construction documentation, permits, bids, job plans, project management systems, ERP systems, or field-service software. Position Details
Pay Range:
$30.00 - $35.00 per hour, depending on experience.
    Schedule:
    Full-time, Monday-Friday.
      Location:
      Onsite in Camarillo, CA.

        Nonexempt.
