- Shimmick via our subsidiary, Axia Electric, is seeking a highly talented
- Electrical Project Manager
- to be based in Orange County, California.

- Since the early 1990s, Shimmick has been self-performing electrical scopes for infrastructure projects.
- Responsibilities
- The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following: + Manage assigned projects or project phases, including planning, execution, budget performance, schedule adherence, subcontractor coordination, and client communications to ensure successful project delivery.
- Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
+ BA/BS degree + 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience supporting heavy civil construction projects in the water/wastewater, mass transit, and power generation markets. + Experience performing electrical engineering calculations, analyses, and technical studies. + Experiencereviewingelectricalsubmittals,RFIs,constructiondocuments,andcommissioningactivities. + Working knowledge of electrical power distribution equipment, including switchgear, transformers, panelboards, generators, UPS systems, and related infrastructure. + Ability to interpret and review P&IDs, control schematics, electrical single-line diagrams, and system drawings for I&C, fire alarm, HVAC controls, and security systems. + Experience with the construction, inspection, installation, and testing of electrical systems, including lighting, medium- and high-voltage equipment, grounding systems, and cable installation activities. + Knowledge of current industry quality standards and quality control processes; previous Quality Control experience is a plus. + Detailed knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) andNFPA 70E
standards. + Ability to interpret electrical single-line diagrams, block diagrams, wiring diagrams, panel schedules, raceway and cable tray drawings, and electrical support drawings. + Experience using Accubid for quantity takeoffs, estimating, and bid preparation. + Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other construction-related software applications.Additional Information:

The salary range for this position is between $125,000 to $160,000 depending on experience and/or education.
