Full Job Description Overview:
We are looking for a highly organized, proactive Project Coordinator to oversee multiple work orders, unit turns, repairs, and renovation projects across Southern California. This is a fast-paced, field-oriented role responsible for keeping numerous projects moving at the same time. The Project Coordinator will coordinate subcontractors and vendors, manage schedules, track budgets and work orders, visit job sites, communicate project status, identify issues before they become delays, and ensure each project is completed on time and to our quality standards. The ideal candidate is extremely organized, comfortable managing a high volume of projects, communicates well with vendors and clients, and isn't afraid to get out in the field to make sure work is getting done correctly. Key Responsibilities Manage multiple active work orders and unit-turn projects simultaneously across Southern California Coordinate project schedules from initial work order through final completion Schedule and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, technicians, and material deliveries Conduct site visits to document existing conditions, monitor progress, and verify completed work Create and maintain clear scopes of work for vendors and subcontractors Obtain and review vendor pricing, proposals, and change requests Track project budgets, purchase orders, invoices, and job costs Maintain accurate project records, photos, schedules, and completion documentation Communicate project status, delays, issues, and completion timelines to management and clients Follow up aggressively with vendors and subcontractors to keep projects on schedule Identify scheduling conflicts, incomplete work, quality issues, and other project risks Perform quality-control walkthroughs and create punch lists as needed Coordinate punch-list completion and final project closeout Help source and build relationships with reliable vendors throughout Southern California Assist with emergency or time-sensitive work orders when necessary Maintain organized reporting across all active projects so management has clear visibility into project status What We're Looking For 2+ years of experience in construction, property management, facilities, maintenance coordination, project coordination, or a related field preferred Experience managing multiple projects, work orders, or unit turns simultaneously Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent written and verbal communication Comfortable communicating directly with subcontractors, vendors, property managers, clients, and internal team members Ability to prioritize a large number of active tasks without losing track of details Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions in the field Basic understanding of residential construction, repairs, and maintenance Comfortable reviewing scopes, proposals, invoices, and project budgets Proficient with project-management software, spreadsheets, email, and mobile technology Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel throughout
Southern California Pay:
$25.00 - $27.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
