Job Description
Job Summary Atanay Electric is seeking an experienced and motivated Electrical Project Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of our electrical projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of seven (7) years of experience in the electrical industry, with a strong background in project management, estimating, scheduling, and team leadership. This individual will ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining excellent relationships with customers, vendors, and field personnel. Responsibilities Manage multiple commercial and industrial electrical projects simultaneously. Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution. Coordinate with customers, general contractors, inspectors, vendors, and field crews. Supervise, electricians, apprentices, and subcontractors. Review plans, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change orders. Prepare project forecasts, track costs, and manage labor productivity. Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards, NEC code requirements, and company policies. Attend project meetings and provide regular progress updates. Assist with estimating, purchasing materials, and job costing when needed. Resolve project issues quickly while maintaining positive client relationships. Help recruit, mentor, and develop field personnel. Requirements Minimum of 7 years of electrical industry experience. Minimum of 3 years managing commercial electrical projects preferred. Strong knowledge of commercial and industrial electrical systems. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical specifications. Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and change orders. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening if required. OSHA 30 certification Experience with prevailing wage and public projects.
