Project & Operations Coordinator

Job Summary DeRouchey Foam is a business to business sculpting foam supplier serving customers in film, themed environments, experiential marketing, fabrication, sculpture, events, displays, and related creative industries. We supply sculpting foam materials as well as provide custom foam sculpting, CNC cutting, fabrication, and coating services for a wide range of projects. We are looking for a highly organized and dependable Project & Operations Coordinator to help manage customer inquiries, estimates, project details, and internal communication between departments. This is a key support role for our company and will help move projects from initial inquiry through quoting, production, coating, and completion. The right person will need to be comfortable working in a fast-moving, hands-on business where every project can be different. This role is a good fit for someone with experience in project coordination, estimating, sales support, construction, fabrication, signs, scenic work, events, custom manufacturing, or a related field. Foam experience is not required, but the ability to learn technical details and keep projects organized is important. Responsibilities Respond to customer inquiries and help gather project details. Assist with estimates, quotes, proposals, and project scopes. Organize drawings, reference images, measurements, files, and customer notes. Follow up with customers on open quotes and active projects. Coordinate job details between sales, fabrication, CNC, coating, and fulfillment teams. Help track project timelines, deadlines, and internal priorities. Support basic 3D file/model preparation workflow as trained. Help prepare clear internal job instructions for production. Communicate project updates to customers and team members. Help improve internal systems, checklists, and project handoff processes. Support with sales, bidding, project management, and operations tasks. Qualifications Strong organization and follow-through. Professional communication skills. Comfortable managing multiple projects at once. Able to learn technical products, materials, and production processes. Detail-oriented and able to keep notes, files, and deadlines organized. Comfortable working with both customers and shop/production teams. Strong computer skills required; familiarity with Rhino and spreadsheet applications a plus. Strong math skills required. Experience with estimating, project coordination, sales support, fabrication, construction, signs, CNC, 3D modeling, events, film, or custom manufacturing is a plus. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. About the Role This is not a basic desk job. Our work includes cutting and fabricating with custom foam blocks, sculpting, coatings, scenic pieces, oversized props, displays, and specialty fabrication projects. The person in this role will help connect the customer's idea with the internal team that makes it happen. This position has room to grow as the right person learns our products, processes, and customers. Pay:

$33.00 - $38.00 per hour
