Role description:
Arcadis seeks a Construction Management Intern in Los Angeles, to perform a wide variety of construction management work in either a field or office setting. Under supervision, the Intern will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day activities related to administration of construction contracts in accordance with LACMTA, Caltrans Construction Manual, and all governing specifications. This role sits within our Mobility Global Business Area. As part of our Program and Project Management team, you'll help deliver some of the biggest, most iconic projects imaginable, with some of the best talent around. With your energy, agility and a keen eye for detail, you'll deliver transformational outcomes for multiple clients every day.Role accountabilities:
- Provides progress reports to supervisor about their development within the construction management field
- Support and assist the project team on safety, quality, construction inspection, and project controls.
- Support construction inspections of roadway, structures, environmental, and related field activities
- Supports in researching and developing solutions for field conditions that necessitate a contract change order.
- Review CPM schedules under supervision
Qualifications & Experience:
Required Qualifications:
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or another related field.
- Valid California Class C driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications:
