Annual Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Project Architect / Project Manager to join our team. This role offers meaningful responsibility and involvement throughout the full project lifecycle, from early due diligence and concept design through permitting, construction documents, and construction administration. This role offers meaningful responsibility and involvement throughout the full project lifecycle, from early due diligence and concept design through permitting, construction documents, and construction administration.
Responsibilities:
Lead project coordination through all phases of design and construction Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders Organize project teams, responsibilities, deliverables, and coordination efforts Balance design intent with code, program, schedule, constructability, and budget requirements Resolve technical, design, and project delivery challenges Coordinate with local jurisdictions and discretionary review bodies to support entitlement and plan check approvals Oversee the preparation, coordination, accuracy, and quality of project delivery documents Manage consultants, clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders Provide mentorship, leadership, and support to team members
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field 5+ years of relevant architectural experience preferred Architectural licensure preferred Experience managing projects, consultants, clients, and multidisciplinary teams Strong written, graphic, and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational and prioritization skills Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and project stakeholders Collaborative leadership style with a willingness to mentor others Strong creative and technical problem solving abilities Working knowledge of building codes, entitlement processes, CEQA requirements, and local permitting procedures
