Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Manager with experience in commercial acoustical ceiling systems to oversee projects from preconstruction through completion. This role is responsible for coordinating project execution, managing resources, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope. Key Responsibilities Manage acoustical ceiling projects from job setup through closeout Coordinate with field teams, superintendents, and suppliers to meet project schedules Prepare and track material orders to ensure timely procurement and delivery Review plans, specifications, and construction documents Prepare estimates and assist with bidding as needed Manage change orders, RFIs, and project documentation Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality requirements Communicate effectively with clients, general contractors, and internal teams Monitor project progress and proactively resolve issues Support and mentor junior staff as needed Qualifications 1-5 years of experience in project management or estimating (commercial construction preferred) Experience with acoustical ceiling systems (ACT, grid, specialty ceilings) Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Strong organizational and time management skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) Experience with On-Screen Takeoff, Quick Bid, or similar estimating software is a plus Strong communication skills and ability to work with both office and field teams Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment Preferred Construction-related education or training Experience managing commercial interior projects Compensation $40 - $60 per hour, depending on experience Performance-based bonus opportunities
