Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be organized, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines. The Project Coordinator will work closely with customers, typically General Contractors, as well as internal CAD, production, and installation teams to ensure projects are completed successfully from start to finish. This position will coordinate project information, assist with estimates, facilitate shop drawings, manage scheduling, and guide customers through the production and installation process. The successful candidate will have strong communication, organization, prioritization, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure all necessary details are in place for successful project completion. Duties & Responsibilities Travel to job sites as required, including both in-office and field work. Work closely with General Contractors and internal teams to provide excellent customer service and ensure quality products and installations. Manage communication and project information between customers and internal teams. Assist with residential building take-offs. Prepare project estimates and work orders for the shop. Track project details, costs, materials, labor, and other project requirements. Coordinate material deliveries and labor scheduling. Communicate project requirements with the in-house CAD team to ensure timely completion of shop drawings. Monitor project progress and address issues or changes throughout the production and installation process. Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure deadlines are met. Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience Minimum of 5 years of project coordination experience in residential or commercial construction, custom manufacturing, millwork, cabinetry, or related building products. Experience coordinating projects from production through installation, including scheduling, customer communication, subcontractor coordination, and issue resolution. Experience working with lumber and steel. Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints. Ability to prepare and interpret estimates and work orders. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong customer service, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills. Ability to build strong relationships with clients and remain professional, calm, and diplomatic when resolving issues. Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at various stages simultaneously. General mechanical aptitude and a strong understanding of mathematics. Ability to use measuring instruments accurately. Responsible, dependable, and able to follow through on assigned tasks. Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Experience Door and window installation and/or sales experience is a plus. Experience working with door and window hardware is a plus. Experience working with glass, including specifications and grades. AutoCAD knowledge and experience is a plus. Pay:
$80,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
